Ubiquitous software company Adobe is moving its New York headquarters, signing a 27,000-square-foot lease for the 17th floor at CB Richard Ellis Investors 1540 Broadway. The space is more than twice the size of Adobe’s current address, at 8 West 40th Street. Asking rent was $57 per square foot.

Mary Ann Tighe, Howard Fiddle, Eric Deutsch and Jason Pollen represented CBRE, which bought a majority stake in the building last year. John Lizzul of Newmark Knight Frank represented Adobe.

In addition, data center company Equinix Operating Co. (not to be confused with the nearly identically named gym) took 8,737 square feet, and Morris Anderson & Associates took 2,817 square feet on the 39th floor of the building. The asking rent was around $70 per square foot.

The New York Post had news of the leases on May 18.
