Robert Emden Emden and Team Bolt for Newmark

A team of veteran brokers led by PBS Real Estate principal Robert Emden has joined Newmark (NMRK) Knight Frank, it was announced last week.

Mr. Emden, who specializes in tenant representation in the Plaza district, will take with him to Newmark his son David Emden and senior managing director Stephen Gordon. The trio most recently helmed high-end deals for Reservoir Capital, Sciens Capital and Lexington Partners. The senior Mr. Emden joined PBS five years ago.

“We are very pleased to welcome Bobby and his outstanding team, noted for their expertise representing financial services firms, investment banks, private equity firms, hedge funds and law firms, especially in the Plaza District,” said David Falk, president of Newmark’s tristate region. “We are confident that these highly experienced professionals will make a major contribution to our firm’s growth.”

“We see Newmark Knight Frank as an excellent home for our practice,” said the senior Mr. Emden, 62, in a prepared statement. “The firm has many truly talented professionals, as well as a broad international platform that includes brokerage project management, design and consulting. The combination greatly enhances our ability to serve our clients.”
